Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) has been selected to receive the 2013 Missouri Quality Award. The Missouri Quality Award (MQA) is the official state recognition for excellence in quality leadership. Modeled after the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the MQA is recognized as one of the strongest state-level quality award programs in the country. Recipient organizations are honored for their achievement in enhancing customer satisfaction and operational performance. GVMH was one of two Missouri hospitals selected for this year’s award. “GVMH is strongly committed to performance excellence. The receipt of this prestigious award is truly an honor and reflects the success of our efforts to provide exceptional care and service to our patients, family members, staff and physicians,” said Randy Wertz, Chief Executive Officer of Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare.
GVMH will be recognized at an Awards Presentation Banquet Luncheon on November 21, 2013 at the Excellence in Missouri Conference at the Hilton Garden Inn Conference Center in Columbia, Missouri.
GVMH is a not-for-profit, modern healthcare organization consisting of an 84-bed hospital, a home health service, and physician and outpatient clinics located in west central Missouri.
