Clinton, MO – (Oct. 18, 2018) Safe, extra scary or somewhere in between – you can find your favorite spooky vibe at the upcoming Zombie Stroll in Clinton.

The event is presented by Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare. The fun happens Saturday morning, Oct. 27, at the Missouri Conservation Department trails.

Take part in costume contests for people and pooches. Visit “haunted” trails and enjoy games, train rides, kettle corn and more. The event opens at 8:30 a.m.  Costume contests begin at 8:45 a.m. and the Zombie Stroll starts at 9 a.m.

“We want everyone to get outside and enjoy a beautiful fall morning, whether you stroll, walk or run,” said Deanna Hendrich with the GVMH Foundation.

Other event sponsors include American Family Insurance/Carla Moberly Agency LLC, Clinton Tourism Association, Juzo, Legacy Bank and Trust, Craig Thompson, Oak Star Bank and Summers Pharmacy.

The funds raised help patients purchase needed medical supplies, Hendrich said.  Donations also will be accepted at the event.

“Our physical therapists work with patients who have swollen arms and legs because of lymphedema,” Hendrich said. “We can provide custom compression garments to help our patients when insurance falls short.”

Full details about the event are available at  Updates will be provided on the GVMH Facebook page the morning of the event if weather becomes an issue, Hendrich said. The event will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
