If caring for the ill or injured in a fast-paced setting interests you, then take note: Enrollment has opened for an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) class at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Clinton.
The course begins April 3 and meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Students in the class also must complete additional clinical hours outside of regular class time. The course concludes on July 20.
Tuition is $750 and includes books, CPR certification and a polo shirt for clinical rotations. A payment of $375 is required to hold a spot in the class. The balance of $375 may be paid in payments with tuition paid in full by the first night of class.
The program exceeds the requirements of the Department of Transportation, Missouri Bureau of Emergency Medical Services and the National Registry of Medical Technicians.
